  2. I enjoyed the first day of class immensly. Today we evaluated conservation ethics and thought of how our upbringing, age, gender, and ethnicity affects everything from the way we think about hunting to how we view water conservation and eating meat. Also we discussed in media outlets that affect conservation views such as Pocahontas and Bambi. We also evaluated how many people are more likely to want to conserve mammals than reptiles, or fish because we view them more so as sentient beings than nonmammals.

  4. Today was the second day of work. Our group went to the site for class, and we discussed the topic of pollution for the annotated bibliography that we have to write. We also watched a video about SRS that was very informative.

  5. I enjoyed the first day of class. The group in which I am a part of went on site for class and we engaged in a lesson about the environment. I must admit, I am growing into a more conservative outdoorsman! As for the 2nd day, which was today, myself along with my colleagues witnessed a very edifying video of SRS. The video showed everything from SRS' start from ground zero, to its current existence, benefits, uses, etc. I am rapturous to learn more of it all already!!!

  6. The First day was great, We didn't really do much. Dr. Klotz gave us an overview of what the class was all about, then we had to do an individual writing of what each person thought about the class, the we did some group activities. It was an interesting one.
